"He had a whole room set up in their house with all of the speakers and lights. We would sit up late night smoking and freestyling over instrumentals."

"Right now, I'm making a bunch of songs, singing and rapping, trying different sounds and styles, seeing what sticks and what I can do without," he said. "I simply love the process of making music."

"I love being an independent artist, making music on my own terms," he said. "Right now, I'm focused on the creativity aspect while learning the business side as well. I want to be known as an artist that can do many different styles and sounds."
When it comes to his musical influences, Steve draws inspiration from a wide range of genres, from hip hop to rock and roll to jazz. "I grew up a hip hop head, for me it was all about the lyrics," he said. "Wutang, Mobb Deep, Nas, they were some of my favorites growing up. But I also love Sade, The Doors, and Santana. I like to think of myself as an artist that is influenced by all sounds, and any given song, any given sound, can manifest itself."
With his unique sound, passion for music, and determination to succeed as an independent artist, Steve Gucci is an artist to watch in the years to come. As he continues to develop his craft and build his career, there's no doubt that he will continue to captivate audiences with his innovative sound and style.
