R&B Artist Caru is making his rise to success as an independent artist outside of Vancouver wa. Caru would like to experiment with his sound, although stick to the dark r&b/trapsoul sound. Caru started music as a hobby like many, as he took it more seriously, he fell more in love with the craft. " I have been doin music for as long as i can remember. i feel like we all wrote songs when we was kids so it was kinda like tha, and in middle school i would start doin rap battles and have the whole school in the crowd n once i hit 14 i was writin songs daily and tried recording any way i could n it was like tha til i upgraded all my equipment"
Caru fell in love with all aspects of music from writing to recording. " i feel like i’m at ah point whea i found the sound i resonate best wit, when it comes to the production of the beats i give a lot of props to this up n coming producer out from toronto, Tellemami, for really helping me find my sound, he had the typa beats i always look for n i gain a lot of inspiration from the certain vibe he might set on the beat like in one of my tracks XXXSTASY produced by him (tellemami) " Caru has started working with Purist Label, an independent label. Caru has plans to continue to master songwriting and his craft. Caru's next release is going to be a remix to Series RUMIX" This is where he puts a spin on songs that he likes, originally done by Summer Walker on her most recent album “ Still Over it”. Since it’s a remix, it won’t be available on Apple music or, spotify, but it'll be up on every other platform. Upcoming singer Ariane is making her rise to success as an independent singer. Ariane has a passion for music overall. Many people use this to cope in life because of things like anxiety which Ariane deals with. Ariane has participated in many singing competitions. "I have participated in many singing competitions, but sadly lost all of them. Winning is not important though, the memories are! I'm starting to really work in the industry". Singing came naturally to Ariane. She had been singing since she could talk. Growing up, Ariane couldn't afford music lessons, so she is self-taught. "Never had classes before, we couldn't afford them, so I learned by myself, until this year I'm still learning this one!"
Ariane makes music like pop/rnb, "but i am open to making any kind of music, since I don't think anyone should have to pick only one music style they like." says Ariane. Ariane is a versatile singer. "For example, I can't choose any kind of clothing, movie, art I like more. It changes every day! Someday I feel like writing a happy song and the next day, a sad, depressing song! I plan on being a well known singer in the world, maybe being invited to all the best places! Galas, grammys, everything! I am currently working on an ep, which is probably going to be named "colorful" since it's gonna have a lot of "different styles" in it, but will mainly be pop/rnb! No date for the moment, but the wait will be worth it!" Upcoming artist Matt Rhodes is from the Inland Empire in Southern California. Matt attended UC Irvine and later served in the Peace Corps for two years in Africa, where he learned a lot about dance, music and music. Matt started playing guitar back in 2007 but didn't take it seriously until 2016, when he got into recovery from drugs and alcohol. "Since then, music has been primarily my main form of therapy, besides photography and, obviously, meetings and recovery related things."
Matt Rhodes has released roughly 105 songs since 2020 and plans on releasing probably 200-500 more within the next 2-5 years. " I grew up listening to the likes of bone thugs n harmony, biggie smalls, q-tip, Pete rock and C.L. Smooth, CYNE, Nujabes, Nas, the Pharcyde, growing up, and also RnB influences like Tank, Tyrese, Mariah Carey, Boyz II Men, etc etc. I also have some influence in choral music and spent a few years just listening on my own to composers like Morten Lauridsen, Kim Andre Arneson, and Eric Whitacre. " Matt has a background playing guitar. " Heavy influences on artists like Justin King and bands like Dayseeker, Makari, ADTR, the list goes on. The past year I've been super heavy on Peep's music, and also lil skies, 6lack, lil tjay, and obviously more well known artists like Rick Ross, drake, weezy, Wiz, etc etc. Logic is also a heavy influence. I enjoyed acoustic alternative artists that would mix spoken word into their songs. I feel like that is a sort of branding I'm trying to get into, but more into the rap / hip hop world. My plan honestly is just to keep expressing myself through music. If I get paid for it, that's great. If not, that's fine too." James Murray is the Founder and CEO of Everything High-Level LLC. James recently had an event, Talented Tenth in Tallahassee. This event took place this past Saturday 16 April 2022 at 7pm in Tallahassee.
The idea for The Talented Tenth in Tallahassee event was sparked after James attended a Black on Black Rhyme event hosted by Mr. Keith Rodgers at the CWC Cafe on S. Monroe Street in Tallahassee. The event was for a women’s appreciation night on a Saturday , March 9, 2022. "There I was given the opportunity to pitch my business I had just started back in January for the very first time in front of an audience. After I was done talking about my business, before I could even sit down, DJ L-Smooth of VEZ Productions pointed at me, handed me his business card and told me we needed to work together." That same night, James got back to his apartment & began to think about what his own event could look like for his business. This was a community gathering event with the aim to entertain an audience, network, display talent and business in the Black community here in Tallahassee, and it was also to give myself the opportunity to explain to people exactly what James journey has been, what his business mission, vision, and services are. "Moreover to both provide messages to people about community ownership & problems we face in the Black community that transcend geography and history in the USA. Then to provide a reasonable solution that highlights pooling resources together as a collective and centralizing our God given gifts, hard work, and financial power… to pool all of those resources together and to stage the www.ehl.life launch date set for Juneteenth this year." Says James Murray. Currently, James has no other events fully planned out. Although James does have ambitions of one day having a live music, art, fashion festival on Florida Agricultural & Mechanical University’s campus to help fundraise and to also bring together Black-owned businesses, Black content creators, and Black non-profit organizations and consumers to promote the ehl.life web domain/mobile platform that is being developed by James and Geoffrey Evans, "my former roommate and friend of Ivory Coast Designs LLC" Keep your eyes out, The next big event is set for June 19 2022!
