How Did You Get Started?
I first started out rapping back in 2015 at 11-12 years of age. It was a talent show that I performed at. I did a cover of Paisano’s Wylin by Andy Mineo and won the talent show. 

When Did You Get Started Making Music?
As far as music goes, I have been playing music since 2013 at 10 years of age.

Where Are You From?
I grew up in Rocky Mount, Virginia but was born in Roanoke Virginia. 
I make Christian Rap music 

What Plans Do You Have For The Future Of Your Music?
The ultimate goal is to at least have one hit song to prove all my doubters wrong. 

When Is Your Next Release?
The next coming release is my album, “Chapter 3: The Skull” it’s the sequel and conclusion to my two other chapters, “Chapter 1: The Crown” and “Chapter 2: The Eye” but I’m still working on it so the release is tbd.​

Who are you?

I’m Jovan Taylor also know as Jovan Morningstar Aka “JoJonatural”. I’m an upcoming artist from AZ, who love horrors.  I’ve done writing for Stranger Things, season 3, and Cobra Kai.

How did you get started?

I’ve always been interested in rapping and stuff like that, but I didn’t start taking it seriously. Then when I dropped my first single “Jojo’s Flow Pt1” and after that I guess I saw how much people actually enjoyed my music, so it made me wanna keep doing it. 

When did you start music?

I started making music in 2020. After I decided to stop being scared and give it a shot, ya know? It was really fun and once I fully understood how to use my voice and stuff like that, i was overwhelmed with a euphoric feeling like this is what I’m supposed to do with my life.


Where are you from?

I’m from Tempe, Az. The Valley of the Sun!

What type of music do you make?

Hip/hop, with a mix of pop in it as well. Most of my earlier song are about deep and emotional stuff, like Mens Mental Health Awareness, or saving the child and stuff like that, but recently I’ve been more uplifting my new songs are showing you a more creative and unique side of me. I’m JoJonatural and I wanna show the world that there will never be another artist like me.

What plans do you have for the future of your music?

My future plans my music is to honestly get big enough to where I can do an album with Eminem, Dave East, The Weeknd, and Dax. Those are the artist I look up to the most especially Eminem his music really helped me through my depression, so doing a song with him would my career coming in a full circle.  


When is your next coming release?

My next release is my single called “Woodsboro” it’s a tribute to the Scream franchise, that drops 7/22! Get ready!​
